Heel Spurs/Heel Pain, Plantar Fasciitis
By the perfect moulding of the Troo Step shoe insoles to the contours of the foot, weight is distributed over
the whole foot area taking pressure away from 'SORE SPOTS' - providing overall support.
Reducing the pressure as you walk is very important to assist with heel pain. If you think of the amount of
steps you potentially take each day the you will realise what a miraculous job our feet do in supporting
us.
With every step your foot absorbs the impact of your full body weight. If you develop an injury/foot condition
then it is usually a result of this pressure. It therefor stands to reason that the only way your foot gets better
is if the pressure is somehow reduced.
Troo Step are designed to reduce the effect of that impact and take away the stress on your foot. Over time
this can help your foot to recover as inflammation is given a chance to go down.
In the case of Plantar Fasciitis you will also benefit from a raised heel. Plantar Fasciitis is the result of an
inflamed tendon. over-stretching this tendon when walking can make condition worse so a raised heel reduces the
chance of over-stretching to allow the tendon to rest.
Fallen Arches, Arch Pain, Flat Feet, Pronation etc
Troo Steps unique individualised cushion support system means that as the insoles mould your insoles will
develop a natural arch support for your feet.
This natural support is sufficient for most of our customers but if you find after 2-3 weeks of wearing you need
more support then you can add it as you need it. After the moulding period is finished the arch area can be
built-up further using cuts of material until you have the support you need.
Full support around the heel & arch areas is essential in the case of heel spur pain. Troo Step provide a
simple yet effective system to allow you to get as much support as you need.
'Ball-Of-Foot' Pain (Metatarsalgia), Neuromas, Corns etc
Again the even distribution caused by the moulding of the insoles takes the pressure away from the balls of the
feet giving pain relief.
Further cushioning can be gained by placing padding BEHIND any painful/problem area under the 'ball of the
foot'. This will allow the extra padding to absorb pressure away from 'sore spots' (see the diagram for pad
placement here).
Do not place the pad under any painful areas (only BEHIND) as this will only compound the problem.
In the case of neuromas - an extra shorter pad can be placed over the first pad to raise the metatarsal
arch.
Insoles can be cut around 'CORNS' which occur 'UNDER' the foot. The problem area will then be supported by the
surrounding thickness of the insoles.
